Here’s How It Works

Wonderkids Will:

  • Deliver, set-up, and teardown equipment for a 4 hour rental (standard);
  • Provide power cords to reach up to 50ft.
  • Carry a liability insurance policy covering our services & equipment.
  • [Optional] Operate all activities without Customer volunteer operator. This is an additional service, for an additional fee, that may not always be available. 

Customer Should Expect To:

  • Provide a 110volt/20amp electric circuits and 10/12 gauge cords for distances over 50ft for each inflatable.
  • Provide any required entrance and parking passes.
  • Provide a minimum of 1 adult volunteer(s) for each inflatable to operate the activities (unless otherwise arranged with Wonderkids).

FAQ

How long is the rental period?

Our standard rental period is 4 hours. Need more time? You can add extra hours for for an additional fee, based on availability.  The additional rate is usually calculated at the same rate ($ per hour) as the rate you initially paid.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. However, we’ll do our best to accommodate last-minute requests if we have availability.

Do you deliver to my location?

We offer free delivery within 20 minutes of our Alexandria, VA headquarters (in 22306 zip code). Delivery fees apply for longer drive times (see our delivery chart). All drive times are estimated using Google Maps ahead of your event.

What kind of surface is required for setup?

Bounce houses must be placed on a flat, clean surface like grass, turf, or indoor flooring. We do not set up on gravel, dirt, or uneven ground. Outdoor setups must be within 50 feet of a power outlet (unless you plan to bring sufficient extension cords).

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is due 3 business days before your event.

What happens if it rains?

Safety is our priority. If strong wind, heavy rain, or unsafe conditions are forecasted, we may recommend rescheduling. You can apply your deposit as a credit for a future date.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Credit card, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App. Transaction fees may apply.

Is adult supervision required?

Yes. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while using our equipment. Safety is a shared responsibility.  See our safety page to learn more about how we can keep the fun safe.

Can the bounce house be set up in a park?

Yes, but the customer is responsible for obtaining any required park permits and ensuring access to electricity. An adult must stay with the equipment until pick-up.
